Ranting comment on who should pay

The On-line testimony about a novel device for treating illness continues:

"...I know the developers personally and their whole organization is spiritually based and you could not find anyone with more personal integrity. And that includes Mother Theresa!!! And i mean that literally..."

Please spend your money on what has value to you, just don't insist that government and other third party payors buy (literally) into your testimony until the evidence that it works is as hard as the cash that it's going to cost. I don't mean to sound harsh or condescending, I honestly believe items like Rosary or Voodoo dolls can actually work miracles (and for a comparatively cheap price.) But, until our society collectively agrees to chip in for the cost of all of them we must depend upon scientific evidence.
